[Wish][Lister]Sth. like ListLoadNext

It would be good to have ListLoadNext functionality with lister itself. When I open lister with cm_ListInternalOnly, it's open with file under the cursor, not with the list. I'd be happier with a switch. Or (sounds better) another command.

Could it be you missed the Configuration - Edit/View options?
Internal viewer with file under cursor
F3 will start the lister with the file under the cursor, not the selected files.

Internal viewer with selected files
F3 will start the lister with the files selected in the source directory. With n and p you can browse through these files.

Hint: Pressing the SHIFT-key while pressing F3 will select the other method of the two methods described above!

:) Hello Karl !

• I'm not sure to have got the question alright, but for me it seems that it's related to an old request :
Get the next¦previous file directly, WITHOUT the need to select a (long) list before !

- There are old threads about this, and some Lister plugins are able to do so…

The OP is referring to cm_ListInternalOnly which only works with the file under cursor. N and P keys don't work even if multiple files are selected before the View operation.

Thanks, roentgen,

for clearing this up. Never bothered to check whether pressing F3 and using cm_ListInternalOnly were equivalent.

Seems they are not.

Hi, Clo.

I guess your assumption makes sense, in particular combined with roentgen's hint that cm_ListInternalOnly is not the same as using the F3 key.

Ok, looks as if I was on the wrong track. - I'll better get some sleep now. :)
