Why don't you make the ftp client with possibilities for resume???

It will be the best ftp client also, i think it is already the most used file navigator in the world.

Hi, Byte00 and Hacker.

You should both specify which version of T.C. you are talking about.
Byte00 may be using a pretty old version.
Hacker is talking about a more recent version.
FTP Resume has not been implemented from the very start of T.C. :wink:

:) Hello Karl !

• The first Resume (download only) has been added ages ago :
New in Version 4.00 (17.06.99)

- FTP resume download even if multiple files selected
It's the oldest spot of Resume I could find in the <History.txt>
- The FTP client itself :
New in Version 3.50 (18.3.1998):
- FTP client
- I guess that “Resume” existed in the 3.50, but for download and a single file only…
- One can find out various improvements along the versions then…

Ok, I feel the need to be more explicite.

I wanted to say TC with resume possibilities when uploading files on server.
This is not implemented in any version of TC.

If this is also possible, please tell me how may I use this feature, but I guess it's not implemented yet, according to Clo.

It is !

:) Hello !

• “Resume” for upload IS implemented too, I didn't say that it is not :
History.txt wrote
New in Version 4.53 (31.05.01):
- FTP: Resume upload (binary files only) ….
-------------------------------------------------
16.09.03 Release Total Commander 6.0 beta 1

08.06.03 Added: FTP resume all for uploads and downloads
• Maybe could you try to add¦change in your <wcx_ftp.ini> :
AutoResume=…

Help and Tutorial wrote :
[General]
AutoResume=30
Timeout in seconds until Total Commander tries to restore a hanging connection, and resume the file transfer. Set to -1 to disable.
… and decrease the default value since it seems that doesn't work for you…
