Suggestion: Double click right mousebutton for pulldownmenu

Hi,

I am an user since Norton Commander and I always have a problem with the "Mouse selection mode" of the program.

I am very fond of both modes, the "NC" mode as well as "Windows std" mode and I was wondering if both modes are possible at the same time.

E.g. By using the 'single click' right mouse button to select an item (NC mode) and by using the 'double click' richt mouse button to get an 'pulldown menu' (just as windows standard).

I know that this suggestion is too late for the 7.0 version, but perhaps an idea for the 7.1 or 7.2 version.

Thanks in advance for the time and effort.
Regards,
Ikke_nl.

Hi Ikke_nl,
You can right-click and hold for a while, and then the context (pulldown) menu will appear.
But I like your idea with right-double-click, because this would be faster than right-click and hold.

Thank you ND for your reply, this feature was indeed known to me.

I suggest a new feature that is faster than holding the right-mouse button.

Perhaps it is still a good idea to investigate this.
Thanks.

There is a special key on most keyboards that opens popup menu, also you can assign any hotkey for command cm_ContextMenu.
