Error message when moving file

Post by *roentgen »

In the last 10 minutes I got 2 of the following messages from TC7rc3 (for the first time since I started using TC):

---------------------------
Total Commander
---------------------------
Cannot copy/move, since the content of the directory was changed by another application!
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Opera browser is downloading into that directory, but this is nothing new, I always do like that. Is there anything special that triggers this message?

One more detail: I try to move a file (rar archive), not a directory.

Thanks for any insights...
TC for Linux please!

Are you using any of the watch directory changes options?

You get the error if a new file arrives, or an existing is removed while the F5 copy dialog is up. It shouldn't happen if just the contents of a file changes.

Well, OK. I just tried to simulate such a situation but I get no error dialog.

However, in my initial posting nothing like that happened (or none that I know of :D), the files were already there, only their contents were modified.
