:) Hello !

• That's true…

- But you mean an ellipsis, I suppose ? ;)

- An ellipsis is not three dots, it's a single character like it's used in the traditional printing job.
Three dots : ...

Ellipsis : (ANSI charset #133)

- Both size “18” here.

¤ It's an old bone of contention between myself and somebody else:lol:

:) Hello!

No, I mean the three dots, three dots are standard in all programs, beside that both has different look see this

:) I disagree, not standard at all ! Where is it written ? :P

- The right mark to show a continuation (and for short) is alright the ellipsis !

• Writing three dots is a bad habit the programmers (and others) got from the era of the old typewriters
where that character was missing (like a lot of others).
- No matter the look is… Anyway, it depends on the (complete) font used.
Each ellipsis saves two characters, besides it's the correct way (at least in French).

It's just a bad pretext for keep the crappy incomplete MS Sans Serif as the programming font,
while a complete programming fonts exists (i. e. : “Dina”, free and for free).

Point noted…

:) Hello!
TC and most programs use 3dots not ellipsis in its internal resource
ellipsis looks very samll it is difficult to my eyes to recognize it

My eyes are certainly older than yours, and I can read the ellipsis…
…It's just a bad pretext for keep the crappy incomplete MS Sans Serif as the programming font…
This is the main reason, as Clo said.

Sorry, it would take too long to contact all translators. The problem is that when I fix it myself, it will again be wrong when the translators send me an updated translation...
