tc7 copying to ipaq sets wrong file timestamp

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

tc7 copying to ipaq sets wrong file timestamp

Post by *sf »

i'm testing tc7.0 final on windows xp (with tc plugin wincefs.wfx) and ipaq 3835 pokcet-pc 2002.

files copied by dragging from xp to my ipaq storage card (or main memory) receive the timestamp of the source file. this behavior is correct.

the same files dragged from xp to ipaq file store are timestamped with the time of the copy. the same error occurs with new files and overwrites.

synching to the ipaq file store from xp is impossible.

is this a problem in wincefs.wfx problem or ipaq file store?

wincefs does call CeSetFileTime to set the time of the uploaded file to the time of the original file. Apparently this doesn't work on your IPAQ. Maybe it's not implemented?
