"Select all files with same name" enhancement

I'm really a big fan of this new feature, I put it on ctrl+s because it saves so much time to select groups of files. Most often used to select .rar, r01, r02... sad thing is, many multi disk archives are part01.rar, part02.rar and so on. And it doesnt work there.

Enhancement: the first time you execute this command on a file, all without extension are selected, the second time, the last two "extensions" are ignored and selected, and so on. With this it should be much easier for me :) to select part01.rar archives. Just ctrl+s and ctrl+s.

I hope you understand my idea, and I hope even more you like it.

1. cm_SelectCurrentExtension=527;Select all files with same ext.
2. Create a file filter (Ctrl+F12): part*.rar

Your proposal I haven't understood, by the way. Please give a file list and then explain what files are selected after each execution, although I doubt that it makes any sense to invent a toggle command here, but who knows...

Thanks to xrmb's post, i just realized this old wish has been implemented. I wonder why it's not assigned by default to a shortcut most people would expect like ALT+SHIFT+ Num+. Currently, does it have a default shortcut?

"Select all files with same name" does not have a default shortcut.
