is there a recovery record file plugin?

something that works similarly to winrar's recovery record, but instead of appending recovery record at the end of rar archives it stores it in a separate files?

or has anyone thought about creating one? :)
should work pretty much like rar recovery record,
but store recovery records in separate .rr files
configurable how many percent of original file would be calculated in recovery record

recovery record is different from recovery volumes/par/fsraid, because if you have 10 files with different sizes, par/fsraid is at least as big as the biggest file while recovery record can be set to e.g. 1%

why? to have ability to recover damaged files/images/etc without having them rared (having rared xvid/ogg/jpg/etc only because of recovery record is kinda pointless)

I would suggest intergration of PAR v2, this does not have the disadvantage of needing the biggest filesize as recovery record.
