tc's associate with...
But sometimes it works bad - not all functions are working if file type has associted actions and hasn't associated program

This poll misses one option.
"I don't use windows associations". Except for .exe, .bat, .cmd, ... ;)

I never create or modify Windows file system associations using T.C.

Yet, I definitely do make use of the TC internal file associations.

Always? - No, most of the time I am doing something else. I am not associating file types all the time.

Seriously:
I restrict myself to creating T.C. internal associations for the file types which I use most and where my favourite programme is not the one that our IT has setup systemwide for these file types.

I mainly have the applications I want to open with on my IconBar. And I right-click context-menu for RARs because TC always wants to drop my rars into the other window. I suppose if I knew how I'd assign the WinRAR context menu to the Safe on my IconBar, and assign 2 other possible actions (TC internat pack/unpack) with TCMenu.exe.
Other than that I've used ChoiceEditor.exe. And the Windows context-menu periodically.

I guess I don't fit into the poll :P
