Bug: "Search backwards" always on in Lister Find

Post by *Genghis86 »

I am using the latest 7.04a.

Whenever I hit Ctrl-F when viewing a file in Lister, the "Search backwards" option is always enabled. Turning it off, and then hitting Ctrl-F doesn't help - it goes back to being on.

I tried deleting, and setting the 'SearchGoBack' option under the [Lister] section in wincmd.ini, but without any luck.

This is very annoying.

Thank you otherwise for a great product.

What has "SearchGoBack" to do with backwards searching? Exactly, nothing at all.

The "search backwards" setting is not remembered by TC, so if it's autochecked, this is being done by a script – AHK? – or some other application on your system.

SearchGoBack is irrelevant to the problem, you are right.

Also, mysteriously the problem went away. I am not sure what caused it. Sometimes Synergy does weird things to my computer.

I'm having the same problem.
You are right that it's Synergy who is causing the problem.
I don't know why.
I'm waiting for Synergy 2. In the meantime, I'm using
