What kind of "background" do you mean?

"Loosing" odd and even lines was here from the beginning, if that is on your mind. I don't consider it as a bug.

Confirmed with for example white text on black background.

It worked OK in TC 7.04.

:) Hello !

• Sorry, I don't get that you mean either. Here I have my BG1 (odd-even lines) as formerly with 7.04a in thumb nails view.
- The texts (captions) colours are alright those of the file-types of my usual settings…

- And sorry again, but I'm unable to spot anything on a so dark and small capture… :|

OK. Now I can confirm.

I've just had too much subtle colours set ;)

Row not full…

Post by *Clo »

2fenix_productions

:) Again…

• Ah ! Thanks ! I could see it now ! That occurs when a row isn't full, the rest here is white (the colour of the mesh).
- I viewed full boards prior, so I couldn't spot it.

• Another CAPTURE HERE (with my light colours… :P )

• The strange thing is that the rest of the panel is filled as it should, only the empty end of the row has the bug… :?

Indeed I could already fix it in the meantime. I'm now drawing the background myself (just the space between the thumbnails, but not under them) to reduce the flickering.

Hi, guys.

May I try to rain on your parade?

There is a thread in the German thread about the same issue: TC7.50pb2: Hintergrundfarbe bei Miniaturansicht ... (TC7.50pb2: Background colour in tumbnail view mode)

In this thread, there are reports and screenshots illustrating these reports. The essence might be this:
  • If you are running T.C. 7.50 PB3 on Vista, then thumbnail view will look the same as in T.C. 7.04a. I.e. for Vista the bug introduced by T.C. 7.50 PB2 has been corrected successfully and completely. Cf. e.g. the screenshot Thumbnailview Vista TC 7.50 PB3, please.)
  • If you are running T.C. 7.50 PB3 on Windows XP, then thumbnail view may not look exactly the same as in T.C. 7.04a. In cases where a thumbnailed image does not fill the thumbnail square area completely, the thumbnail will have white borders (vertical or horizontal). Cf. e.g. the screenshot Thumbnailview WinXP TC 7.50 PB3, please.)
  • Reports on other Windows platforms seem to be absent so far.
Conclusion:
I am not really sure whether the reported bug can be considered fixed on all supported Windows platforms.

Good night,
Karl
