1) Mark all folders or links of folders where you want to copy your files to in the target panel.
2) Select the files you want to copy in source panel.
3) Press F5 and select the button "Options >>"
4) Check "copy to all marked folders/links" and press Ok.

Is it possible to copy to multiple targets in some other way? Such as, if I want to copy a file from 1 network folder into another network folder and also to my PC at the same time?

If this a repetitive task, then just create shortcuts to this folders at a place of your choice.

Now follow the steps Samuel mentioned above ...

It is repetitive, but unfortunately the copyto network folder name changes every day, so I would have to edit the shortcut each time.

Big J Money,

>> unfortunately the copyto network folder name changes every day

Exactly! And this is why IU asked Ch. Gh. many years ago to write a function that is more flexible. He wrote the LNK solution that runs, invariably, into the problem that you pointed out.

As a result, I wrote an addon that you can see, DL, and read about here:

Code: Select all

The original post and history can be found here:

In a nutshell: You create "projects" by hand, OR using TC's TAB possibilities, OR by using TC's Mark&Copy file lists to create for each project to text files: a "Sources" list (*.LST) and a "destinations" list (*.TAB). than each of the source files is copied to each of the destinations.

Thoise two files can also be created on the fly with one click (for BOTH !!!) - Read the help file.

Requires: One EXE file (260k in size) and... Nothing else.

Free, of course.
