long filenames tooltip

I haven't find the solution and/or anything anything helpful on this one, so I hope you'll be able to answer this...

I read that at least one other user suffered from this issue, that when tooltips pop up on long filenames, TC loses focus (when using xmouse, which I am definitely not getting rid of!!!).

I would like one of two things to be done with this issue:
1. to have an option in TC to manually set the time for file-name tooltips to appear (similar to tooltips for buttons). If this is already in there, please let me know
2. Tooltips NOT making TC lose focus, although I don't consider this a bug in TC, since it is because I'm using xmouse. What is strange though, is that I can still use mousewheel to scroll the dir, even if mouse hovers over tooltip, but this might be related to another little app I'm using (KatMouse).

Yes this IS the sole purpose of KatMouse!

yup, and it is why I use it!

I'd still like to have a configurable delay of tooltips, though...
