:D Hello!
I tested adding a second packer-plugin... This plugin appears alright in the "Pack" dialog, in the small combobox (open it via the [>>] button).
I tested under Win98 SE only...

:wink: Glad to hear more about this,

It seems that iso... and cab... works fine with already existing files
But they are not make for creating archives.
Is it true ?

What Vansumsen is correct.
Not all packer plugins can create new archives or edit archives. You should read the documentation of each plugins to find out what it's feartures are.

Tip:
the code in front of the packer will also tell you about it's features:
iso=192,C:\totalcmd\wcx_iso\iso.wcx
192 means: 128 (allow searching for text in archives) + 64 (detect archive type by content)

:D Hello!
:wink: Right! The CABs creation under Win9x needs an independant program (you can find a link to a such one - in French only, sorry - from the TC Tutorial >> Archives handling under "What are archives?"). It can't be used as a TC addon, unfortunately...
:idea: To invoke it: a button in the button-bar... :?:
:arrow: Please, check the post about TC Tutorial (English)

For Windows9x, ME, NT4, 2000 and XP Download Cabmaker
http://www.minostudio.com/software/apps/cabmaker.exe

It is free
