TC 8.51a: Exception Division by zero on "backspace"

Post by *aabra1 »

windows 7
total commander 8.51a

I get this message:
"Exception in EDivByZero totalcmd.exe Module Has 020CEE7F. Division by zero"
and then total commander shuts down.

to recreate the error:
when I scroll all the way down on a lister with more than 1 screen of objects(files, folders) and then hit a <backspace> when at the bottom of the listerscroll.

here is the link to a video:
https://copy.com/X9rtgNyiSZjA9wNZ

this happens every time when I hit a backspace to go up a directory. after scrolling down through the lister.
it does not happen if I do not scroll and just hit a <backspace>

it also works fine if I use mouse and click on ".."

note: sorry, they kicked me out of the french forum, they do not want any English there, although that was the only place I found similar issue.
I am starting a new topic here now.

Erase all your profile data (wincmd.ini) and try with a fresh one. Update Windows to 8.1. If this error persists, check your hardware.
We are not so S.M.A.R.T. as we imagine...

Or simply rename to wincmd.bak.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
