Post by *lucaslee »

i'm a trial tc user and i'm chinese,so sorry for my poor english
------the bug----
refresh in the root(My Compter) NOT work!
---------in details---------
when i'm browsing the root(My Computer) in detail at right 'window'
and some file in disk H at left 'window'
like this pic(i'm using chinese XP,so i change sth into english in the pic:)):
Image: http://www.zxnj.com/lucaslee/temp/tc.jpg
i del some files in the left 'window' and i refresh the right 'window'
but the disk H is still the original size.
then, after i change some path in right 'window' and back to the root(My Computer),the size changed.

hope the bug can be fixed
best wish for the TC :P

Indeed the numbers are cached because they could be slow to retrieve. It's currently not planned to make them refreshable.

Christian, I'm puzzled. Why would someone refresh "My Computer" unless they wanted to see new values? And, OTOH, if someone switches to a different folder and back to My Computer, then surely that would be a logical time to use the cached numbers? Now, it seems, TC does the opposite - uses the cached numbers on refresh, and recomputes them when the folder changes.
