Switchi TC to initial panel position?

Is there a command to switchi TC to initial panels position (and settings) click-ing to a button? (ex: like "home" button in IE)

No but you can always insert a button with the default directory that you wanna have.

(Root can always be accessed via \ key.)

Did you meant "paths" by "panels position"? If you did, read this.

Or use the opentabs command.
'opentabs tabfile.tab' replaces the current tabs with these new tabs. (also to be found in the help of Total Commander)
It's not exactly the same as the suggestion of Black Dog, but maybe this is what you want.
