Thank you all for your suggestions and explanations.

Looks like I will continue to miss the convenience of being able to open some shortcuts from Total Commander, but that's fine, I usually use my Windows start menu anyway. I only came across this bug because I was organizing my start menu using my favorite file manager, TC.

I shall wait for my plugins to go 64 bit (Right now the situation is looking quite abysmal, as over 50% of them aren't available in 64 bit yet. Worse; Some of them aren't being developed anymore so unless an alternative comes around for them... I'm stuck.)

And while I "do" that;

That's my favorite suggestion, *crosses fingers* for new feature but I'm not going to worry too much about it.

Problem "Solved" (unsolvable, but many good workarounds were posted.)
