Description:
Displays as user-defined structure and allows to manipulate the phone book contacts directly in the file window of Total Commander.
Each record can contains information about the contact person (name, birthday), data on place of work (post, organization, contacts, address), personal data (contacts, address), other data (contacts, address), and note.
Allows you to import/export contacts in vCard format (file format standard for electronic business cards) in next encodings: ANSI, UTF-8 (import/export) and Quoted-printable (import only); supports work with files that contain multiple contacts.
Has a multilingual interface.

I only have three applications that can open a .vcf file (SeaMonkey, Nokia Communication Centre, and Windows Contacts (Win 7)) and in non of these, a .vcf file exported from tcPhonebook is displayed correct. Windows Contacts is almost correct, while SeaMonkey switches home and work data, and Nokia Communication Centre also mixes up some home and work data and doesn't display the Name at all. I don'tknow which of these applications are doing i right though.
Another thing is that Organization and Department is concatenated when exported from tcPhonebook to . vcf file.

I was guided on Windows Contacts. But I plan to implement full support for vcf-format (as far as possible).
Another thing is that Organization and Department is concatenated when exported from tcPhonebook to . vcf file.
I have not found vcf-field which corresponds to Department.
PS. I would be grateful if you give me the sample files.

I have noticed, that if I export from Windows Contacts, then the ORG line is exported like this:
ORG:Organization;Department
in stead of the way tcPhonebook does it:
ORG:Organization, Department
And when I reimport (in Windows Contacts) the file exported from Windows Contacts it puts Department in the right place - so maybe a semicolon as delimiter will do the trick.

In the "Viewing information about contact" dialog - one click on the triangles should expand/collaps the groups.
Make the dialogs "Create new contact" and "Edit contact" and "Information about contact" resizeable and save size and position of all three windows.
"Create new contact", "Edit contact" are in fact one window.
I'll do it, but not earlier than version 0.9.5.
