Total Commander doesn't select files when you click on them, or do you mean right click on them? Please give me more details!

Just left click on one file(mousedown and mouseup) and don't move the mouse, the clicked file's color was just like it wasn't clicekd. Right after that click if you move mouse a little, the color changed as you set in "Color" option.

Do you use "use inverted cursor" in color settings? Or what do you mean with file color?

Yes,I use "use inverted cursor".
"file color" I mean the displayed filename's background color and foreground color.

Hmm, strange, I just tried it, and the color always changed immediately. You write that it doesn't occur every time, any idea when it does?

Btw, which Windows version do you use, and which theme? Looks like Windows 7 without AeroGlass?

That's right.
I installed radmin,a remote control program. Its display driver disabled AeroGlass automaticlly.

I am experiencing similar behavior. The LMB click does select correct file/dir but the cursor disappears. However in status bar I see newly selected item. Custom cursor color and inverted cursor set in configuration. Win 7 with aero here.

I'm experiencing lost selection cursor too. However I do not use inverted colors. Its standard installation.

When I move cursor with keyboard it looks fine. However, if I click on file or folder with left mouse, cursor disapears.

Win 7 and Aero.

Using my default theme (classic style) - all works perfectly.
Using Aero theme - confirm, focus rectangle disappears after click, only after second click onto same file focus appears. Doesn't matter inverted cursor is used or not.
