Are there any plans to add a sync function similar to that of the Windows version?

I do understand that stability and basic functionality is more important for version 1.0, but is there a chance for a sync function later on?

Currently there are no plans, because the phone displays and even most tablet displays are just too small for a side by side sync.

As i manually synced my picture folder from Android to NAS yesterday evening and wished for a Sync feature:

did the plans change? Any chance for a Sync feature in the near future?

No, currently not. Just copy the files in both directions with option "Overwrite all older".
