folder tree unrar and unzip

There are times when I have to deal with multiple (100+) rar and/or zip and/or other format folders. It would be nice to have an unzip and an un-rar that would navigate the sub-folders. The current ones will do so but only if there is a zip or rar file in the top level directory.
