Icons for hidden files

Post by *commodore »

Is there any way to make TC display usual icons for files with "Hidden" attribute set (instead of the red exclamation mark on the white "piece of paper" icon)?

You can download this file http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/totalcmd1.icl and put it in your Total Commander program folder.

Then put this line in the [Configuration] section of your wincmd.ini file:
IconLib=%COMMANDER_PATH%\totalcmd1.icl and restart your TC.

If you also want to get rid of the exclamation mark on folders, you can use this file in stead http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/totalcmd2.icl

Thanks, but this isn't the solution I'm looking for. What I'd like to see is TC displaying regular icons for their respective file-types (instead of the generic exclamation-mark-on-paper icon, which is displayed for all of them). Kind of like it is done in Explorer (except that Explorer also blurs the hidden ones a little).
