It happened when i was unpacking a big Rar file in background mode. It took some time and I was thinking it was over, and tried to in-place rename the target file that was currently unpacking. Got an error and when clicked OK this appeared. After this crash i can no longer use in-place rename, until i restart totalcmd.

Thanks for your report. This is a known error caused by refresh of the directory list - it should be fixed in Total Commander 8 beta.
