I see there is a similar (not identical

) post that is pretty old so here I am.
I think it would make sense to have the option to transfer packing to background when "Create separate archives, one per selected file/dir" is enabled. It would definitely help me, as I frequently archive large packs of directories.

Yep, I'd also like to see this feature.
For example, I capture screenshots (every 10 seconds or less) during several vnc sessions and store them in separate directories.
Could it be possible to add this feature to transfer background manager?
PS. Thanks a lot for 8.50beta versions to remove duplicates regardless of filenames with ease

Agree to this as well
It's very annoying to have TC being blocked for several minutes due to raring/zipping large amounts of folders
Would even be better if pack commands could also be queued, just like normal copy/move commands
That way you could prepare a bunch of packs and just walk away from the computer

Not only totalcommander, it blocks my entire computer with compression task popping up constantly without letting me do anything else...
