I am sorry but I was really looking for the solution and I got little bit lost. I would like to use different colors for folders. I downloaded iColorFolder app and in system it works well. But no change of folder color in Total Commander is shown.
The file icons are the same in system and in TC... But the folder icons in Total Commander seems to be different from the system icons. Is there some way how to do it? Thank you.
The same folder icons in TC as in the system?

Hello, estec.
Total Commander uses its own folder icons which are independent of the folder icons used by Windows Explorer. They are by default taken from the file WCMICONS.DLL in the T.C. programme folder.
You can exchange the set of icons used by the T.C. file panels by installing a different iconset and pointing the wincmd.ini parameter IconLib to the corresponding icon library file.
You can download such icon libraries from Totalcmd.net here.
Yet, in the end, it remains a fact that T.C. does not care about the folder icons which Windows Explorer uses.
Kind regards,
Karl
