Can I add a second toolbar?
Would like to have my normal toolbar, but also a second one for just folder shortcuts (bookmarks). Is this possible?
Hello, kunkel321.
Well, if it comes to being precise with respect to terms, then the answer to your question is: Total Commander does not have any toolbar at all.
I assume, though, that what you, kunkel321, call a toolbar is in fact the Total Commander buttonbar.
In this case the answer to the rephrased question "Would like to have my normal buttonbar, but also a second one for just folder shortcuts (bookmarks). Is this possible?" would be like this:
Yes, you can create as many buttonbars inside Total Commander as you like.
Yet, at any given point in time only one single buttonbar will be the active buttonbar (and visible).
There is a very nice and helpful possibilty in Total Commander: You can configure (secondary) buttonbars to be dropdown menus of the active buttonbar.
Using this option might be the right approach with respect to a buttonbar which displays folder shortcuts.
For more information on Total Commander buttonbars, go to the Total Commander help, section 3.a User Interface => Buttonbar => Dialogbox to change => will take you to the page titled "Dialog box: Configuration - Change button bar".
Kind regards,
Karl
