Referring to this suggestion

But taking it further, in a much more convenient way.
Most people have one folder where they keep all their really important data.
They want to synchronize that folder with a backup drive regularly (backups)
Using total commander folder sync is very tedious because it copies lots of junk thats not needed. (portable web browser cache for example)
Previously it was suggested to be able to type very complicated search phrases into the folder sync like
There can be commands like
IGNORE (meaning ignore)
EXCLUDE (meaning ignore left and delete right)
wildcards should be allowed like *.tmp;*.bak.
Folders and files should be allowed.
Thank you!
Will be awesome.
its important to have a file sync_options.tc file in the source (and destination) folders, rather than in totalcmd.ini because the drive of your important data can change. Flash drives take different letters depending how many you have plugged in and what order you plug them in etc.
Yes there are ways some advanced users will find around drive letters changing, but lets just do it right and not have to worry about it.

A much more convenient way (and easier to read) would be to just be to read a hidden file sync_options.tc in whatever folder that is being synchronized.C:\|"C:\exclude\this path\" "C:\and\this one\too\" "exclude this" *.bak folder\
