And what is your real problem or question ?
I think he's having a hard time trying to set TC up and the additional plugin/tools suggestions and recommendations have overwhelmed him.
Better start by opening the Configuration window, pressing the help button on each page whenever a question pops up. Pressing the Help button opens the corresponding page for all the options, with explanations.
jimbow86, TC is available in other languages. Might help.
Good luck.

Then just don't do it. :) And don't get me wrong, I do not mean that you should give up on TC. I mean exactly the opposite, because TC is really great program. Just don't try to fine-tune it right from the beginning when you don't really know what you are doing. Sure, it is possible and there are many ways to do that. But it's not mandatory. Even stock TC is usable enough for many people. So start with that. You might go through options dialog and if you see something where it's clear that you want it set differently, change it. You can safely ignore the rest for now. And then just use it, work with files, it's why you got file manager. And when/if you encounter some kind of shortage or something, then look for solution and slowly discover everything you need.
