tortoise svn and total commander 64 bit.

Post by *techbuddy »

i ported from win 32 to win 64 , installed totalcommander 64, tortoise 64 and imported all my plugins from 32 bit machine ( ini files , wpx etc ) in the ini folder for totalcmd.

Unfortunately, the plugins are not recognised. Is there a good way to automatically upgrade all the plugins to 64 bit otherwise it is really a lot of work.

Well, if not, then would like to know how can I upgrade atleast the SVN plugin which enabled me to show the svn icon in totalcommander.

You should check if 64-bit version of a plugin exists. Not all plugins exist in 64-bit yet. W/o 64-bit plugin version you can't use that plugin in TCx64.

If you see theese icons in Windows Explorer, you can see them just in TCx64 if you enable 'Show overlay icons' option and 64-bit tortoise extension is installed (you need 32-bit extension to see icons in TCx32).
