Quick Search not(!) filter

Is it possible add functionality to the quick search for files that do not match a pattern.

For example, assuming a directory has files AA, BB and CC. If you then do a quick search for say !BB (as in not BB) the remaining files in the search would be AA and CC.

Please let me know if I'm not making sense and I'll try explain a bit better.

This functionality is already available using Quick Search Extended.
There is no need for more eplanations from your side of such simple function

Just in case I hadn't explained it clearly enough.

Thanks Horst - I will check out QuickSearch eXtended.

The QuickSearch exTended does cover this type of functionality it feels cumbersome and not very intuitive with respect to how one searches elsewhere (not necessarily in TC). You now have to type a little more info to get the same filters as before...guess I have to get used to it though.

Thanks for this though, still very useful.

I'm open to other ideas otherwise my suggestion still stands as it would be great to have this functionality directly in TC.

In QSX you either have to type "!BB" or you may type "BB" and use the mouse to invert the result. What is not intuitive about that?

You proposed it exactly like this.
