adding files to queue

Post by *matan_b »

hi
when you have a queue already running, you should have an easy way to add files to it, instead of going to the queue window and clicking on "add'.

for example :
1. if the queue is running, every new Copy attempt should ask you if you want to add it to the queue or to copy it directly without a queue.
2. or, if the queue is running you should be able to drag files into the queue window. although you dragged it to the queue and not to the other pane, the files will be copied to the location of the pane.
3. and/or - if the queue is running, and you attempt to copy files to the same disk - add it to the queue automatically.

Did you miss: "Confirmation dialog: [F2 Queue]"?
Or did I miss something from your suggestion?

In case you copy via drag&drop, you may have disabled this dialog:
Configuration -> Options.. : Misc.
Get confirmation before
[x] Drag&Drop (copying files with mouse)

Additional there are some settings like
<F1>Help,4.b wincmd.ini wrote:AlwaysCopyInBackground=1
; 1: Total Commander always copies in the background
; 2: Always use background transfer manager
which may be useful.

Regards
Holger
