Retry on FTP copying

Hi,
I would suggest an option to "retry" when a FTP file transfer fails. As a web developer, it happens quite often that I copy large number of files from/to FTP and, from time to time transferring some of then fails (unstable network).
Now (8.01 x64), a dialog appears only informing me that transfer failed and I can only continue or abort. It would be nice to have also a "retry" option to retry transferring the file which failed to transfer.
It is really difficult when copying hunderds of files to find which ones did not copy successfully and copy them manually.

Thanks in advance

Richard

Could you try the transfer in background (F5 - F2)? It does more aggressive retry.

I don't see any option to run the transfer in background with FTP, this option is AFAIK only available with normal disk-to-disk transfer. After pressing F5 or F2, nothing happens.

It comes up when you press F5 - the first of 3 options for either upload or download.

Hello,
I always use F5-F2 when copying, but sometimes I get that "Transfer failed" msg. Then I can choose to stop all the queue or continue but then I have to search manually which file has failed (yes, sometimes Shift+F2 helps).

Just to clarify - in the most cases I get that message when the "other side" is still transferring the file to the FTP.
Another note - I can't use Shift+F2 sometimes, because I work with automated FTPs, that deletes the file right after I upload it (Video converting FTPs at TV stations).

All the best
