Directory hotlist redesign to drive bar

Hello everyone and sorry for maybe suggesting something already discussed ;)

I am a proud TC user for many years and I wanted to suggest an improvement i very much miss and which I think other explorers solved better.

I like the idea of the directory hotlist but did never use it in tc for two reasons:
1. i never remembered which of the two buttons is the hotlist and which one is the history (icon improvement needed)
2. it is too far out of reach, too small and, as a submenu, "Out of sight, out of mind" (one could of cause discuss about that, here is my opinion)

My improvement would be to implement "Shortcuts" directly next to the drive bar. At my display resolution only 30% of the width is used, so there is plenty of space for my 5-7 most important places.
I know the concept from the "windows 7 explorer left panel favorites" and use them quite often.

Best regards!

You can simply drag desired folders onto buttonbar and TC will create links to jump to them. If you want separate bar for favorite items, you can insert line break button into buttonbar.

For hotlist there is a predefined hotkey Ctrl+D and you may register any other one. Also you can do a doubleclick onto free space of path bar and hotlist will appear.
