combining file extensions into groups

maybe the topic is not clear enough... so in other words:

when I want to look for some audio files in e big folder with many subfolders I always press CTR B followed by CTRL F12 and then type all extensions that i can think of (eg. *.mp3;*.ac3;*.flac and so on). That takes time and also I may forget a lot of them.

so since we already have "internal associations", wouldn't be good idea to be able to assign these extensions to a group and later instead of typing one by one just type a group (eg. audio -> for above example) ?

You won't believe but your wish is already realized. :)

Just click 'Define...' button in Ctrl+F12 dialog, type your file types in form *.mp3 *.ac3 *.flac ... and click 'Save' button (don't fill any other fields). Next time you press Ctrl+F12, just select your saved preset from bottom list of filter dialog instead of typing all extensions into top one.

Even more, saved preset may be used as internal associations template, color by file type template, expand selection template (Num +) or just in search dialog (Alt+F7). All theese places may easilly work with the same music files template (that may be edited later BTW)! :D
