TC does not recognise Cannno PowerShiot

Post by *ismanpa »

Hello,

TC does not recognise Cannon PowerShiot SX ISO. Windos Explorer has no difficulty in dealing with the files on the camera.

Please help.

Thank you!

Hello ismanpa,
TC does not recognize any ISO on its own, it needs plugins (or the info comes from Explorer). On top of that, Canon hides the ISO in the EXIF Makernote field. What are you trying to achieve?

ismanpa,
Try the CanonCam plugin. Apart from that I recommend a card reader.

@ismanpa
I remember mentioned plugin behaving strange and copy operation was a lot slower than using card reader.

I have one which makes my card seen as USB pendrive. better than direct camera connection or full featured card reader (detected as such).

If you can see it in Explorer, you can usually also see it in TC: Click on the little triangle to the left of the current path, then on "Computer".

You can try Windows Media Audio v2 plugin. If I'm not mistaken, it can see Canon cameras.
