I much prefer the quick search in 8.01 and older over the way in 8.50beta1. I like to see all the files/folders, not just what is filtered - can this be added as an option in the configuration? Thank you.

It isn't changed. You probably pressed Ctrl+S. Press it again when quick search is active.

Quick Search in TC 8.50 works the same as before in 8.01 for me.
It would be useless if the displayed files are not filtered according to my criteria.
