Is there any way to search and replace in batch mode?
For example replace all dots with comma in multiple text files?

How many files do you want to run through this batch process?
If it is not too many, why not use a text editor like Notepad++ for this.
It has the feature to replace a text by another text in e.g. all openend files.

I personally use two free open-source pgms :brunast wrote:Is there any way to search and replace in batch mode?

- "fart" for ansi file and also for binary replacement(it is my favorite but it have some limitations)....
- "fnr" is also free and can prepare batch file for later execution and allows Reg.Exp.
For more advanced task i use at work "PowerGREP".
