Hi.
When I go onto "Network (WORKGROUP)", TC hangs. For ages. Several minutes.
I read in another forum thread this was not supposed to happen?
TC 8.01 64 bit, on Windows 8 (although pretty sure it happened on Win 7 too).
Many thanks.
Should enumerate network on separate thread

This can happen when you have multiple network interfaces, but one of them is not responding. For example, this can happen when a DSL modem is connected to the PC, and file sharing is bound to the modem.

I see thank you, makes sense. I literally have tens of interfaces (virtual machine stuff) - is there any way to totally disable TC from attempting anything on "network" - since I never use it?
I currently actually am even struggling to launch it now, as it has shut down with the right hand side being on "network", which hangs...
Thank you!

Unfortunately there isn't - TC calls Windows functions to get the list of servers or to connect, and it's not possible to restrict them to a certain interface.
