Hello!

Don't know is it a bug or just specific webDAV server (MarkLogic) behavior, but i have a problem when openig a folder using plugin - it shows me the folder is empty, but i'm sure there are some files in there.

I have another webDAV client (oxygen) which shows files correctly.

I can see the difference in a webDAV server logs:
1) plugin sends "PROPFIND /delegation/us HTTP/1.1"
2) another client sends PROPFIND /delegation/us/ HTTP/1.1
- there is a / after us folder.

In my case under delegation folder i have both directory and file with the same name - us. Mat be this is the reason, because in general the plugin works fine.

Regards,
Dmitry

There is a checkbox in the connection settings to alaways append a slash to directory names. Can you try this please?

WebDAV COPY/MOVE

Is there any chance to add full support for WebDAV COPY/MOVE operation?
For example, as a checkbox in connection properties?

At this time (plugin v.2.9) it's ok when copying one file, but when I try to copy folder plugin creates inner folders and than recusively uses WebDAV COPY for each file. My server copies inner content by itself.

That makes me cry when there's a lot of files and work doubles.

P.S. And the same for DELETE

Interesting, I didn't know that there are servers where COPY command also works for folders. I will consider adding it when I can get it to work.

I got a couple of problems of using the webdav plugin:

1. i opened a connection to the webdav target, selected a file, press 'F3' to quick view the file (text file), then download it, modify it, then upload it to the server, then used the 'F3' to quick view the file. it showed the before-change content, even after I restarted total commander several times! i then downloaded that file again and viewed it, it showed the before-change content! finally i ftped to the same folder and downloaded the file, its contents showed the changed content. it seems to be me the webdav plugin put the files in a cache somewhere and never refreshes them.

2. it would be great if i could reserve the original file time when uploading the files.

thanks.

I join the wish to add to the WebDAV-client plugin to set a time stamp when copying to the server (upload). There is a workaround: Use WebDAV-client by Microsoft: Map a network drive in Windows Explorer. But it is advisable to add this feature (set time stamp) to the WebDAV-client plugin. When interacting with your own WebDAV-server (Wifi transfer), there should definitely be no problems.

Please try version 3.10 beta 1, it should support it for some servers which support the field Win32LastModifiedTime:

Beta stop with error after 94% of 3.9M copy.
No problem with official 3.0.

Could you send me a detailed log? You need to enable it in the connection settings, and also enable FTP logging in Configuration - Options - FTP. This also logs plugins.

Please turn off multi-step uploads in the connection settings. Some servers have problems with it.
