active tab with Classic Theme is not well distinguished

everything tested with Windows XP SP3:

The problem
Windows XP comes with 2 themes:
with Windows XP Theme the active tab contains a yellow bar
with Classic Theme the active tab doesn't contain a yellow bar, and so it is much harder to distinguish the active tab from other tabs.

I noticed notepad++ showed the yellow bar with both Themes of Windows XP.
Also notepad++ distinguishes the active tab better, and not only by the yellow bar:

In classic theme TC panel tabs look exactly as every other standard tabs (check e.g. taskbar properties or file properties dialogs).

You are right ...
...but only partially: in TC 8.5 beta TC panel tabs don't look exactly as every other standard tabs: TC makes tabs lighter (and I think his is a good change).

Just opened TC 8.50b9 (32/64), TC 8.0 (32/64) and TC 7.0.4a: tabs look absolutely identical. So it is interesting to see the difference you're talking about. Can you make a screenshot?
