[RFE] file system disk space usage on current directory

Post by *testerus »

On the tablet I miss a short information about the disk space usage of the partition the current directory is in. Especially I would like to know how much storage is left free.

This is currently shown in the home folder only (free and total space).

Edit: PS: Sorry: after posting the following paragraph, I've seen the possibility of a custom button with the internal command 115 (used space) and a pre-associated specific icon, which is exactly what I needed. Suggestion: make that button also default.

I also miss this feature a lot: It's the normal way I use on the PC to "make space" or "rationalize space" whenever I need it: Alt-Shift-Enter to make the dirs present their used space and Sort by Size. Then, I concentrate on the bigger dirs and don't waste time looking in the small ones.

For me, it's a much-wished feature.

Thank you.

Jose
