Highlight files

Post by *JonnyRobbie »

Is there a way to highlight custom files/folders? I imagine it like selecting certain files/folders and setting its color to a custom one. Akin to highlighting by extension, but instead with arbitrary files.

Go to "Find Files" and define a matching search (including RegEx, Attributes or Plugins) and save it with a fitting name.

You can now select that search pattern in the "Define colors by file type" dialog (Add...).

Thanks, this seems to work, but it's highly inflexible. I've had to do some insane stuff with 'search and replace' in N++ to get the correct RegEx from the selected paths. And adding another file won't be easy either, but right now it somehow works. Thanks

EDIT: Oh, nevermind, I just figured out I can mass-edit 'comment attribute' and search by it
