Custom hints over the files icons

Custom hints are very useful for details of the files, but sometimes take too much space in panel (especially on netbooks). They are often needed, so they cannot be turned off. Also cursor cannot be moved aside.
How about (optional) show hints only if cursor is over the icon of the file, not over the whole row?

You can disable automatic hints and show hints by hotkey using cm_ShowHint command.

Watching custom hints for multiple files — with the cursor is much faster!
(custom columns not to offer too!)

P.S.
When checkbox «Show filename in the file list as tooltip if truncated» is left — cm_ShowHint shows nothing...

Maybe you can create another custom column set if you need tooltips for multiple files?

I checked it specially: cm_ShowHint shows tooltip even when tooltips are disabled.

Like i said, custom columns don't fit me.
Custom hints have much more convenient appearance. And some "calculations" in CH are "faster" because they are on demand.
