Copy/Move - "overwrite" dialog box - overwrite options:

Is it posible to give them all as direct buttons to have direct access (by mouse and key as well) instead of go through More options ?

I very often use Autorename option (mainly autorename copied) and Compare option and I must click and click (through More Options) :cry: . I never use Apend option, Overwrite all older.

You can use shortcut keys: Alt+Shift+. (i.e. Alt+>: note underscored > in button text) to open more options menu and then C to use auto-rename copied. As I see, some menu items like Compare don't have shortcut keys, you can add them by editing LNG file. If you're using internal English, you can create following WCMD_MY_ENG.lng and switch to it:

Code: Select all

English

1338="Com&pare"
So, Alt+Shift+. and then P will start compare.

Finger gymnastics is ok if it is rarely, but annoying if I do it often. So question is why not "P" (one click by mouse) instead of "Alt+Shift+. and then P" (by mouse two clicks and two focusing item) ?

By the way the buttons are little bit messy (unorganised). Let me suggest a new layout of the buttons in "Copy/move conflict" dialog box. (4 rows, 3 columns, words in brakets are buttons and there is one check-option at the end).

Code: Select all

[    Overwrite     ]  [       Skip      ]  [Autorename copied]   [ Append  ]

[ Overwrite older, retain newer ] [Autorename target] [ Compare ]

[   Overwrite smaller, retain bigger    ]  [ Rename copied...]   [ Cancel  ]

[Overwrite older/same age, retain newer ] [ Rename target...]

[x] Apply the same action to all conflicts
