fw. and back mouse button to apply on panel under pointer

I use the forward and back button of my mouse to navigate in the directory history of Total Commander. Currently the mouse buttons let you navigate only in the active panel of Total Commander. It would be nicer if instead they would act on the panel which is under the mouse pointer.
The scroll wheel already works this way.
