PC-Support managers (like me) needs to use original Windows versions. In Windows 8.01 I can by example not use a program to set the user interface to the windows 7 user interface. For this reason I would like to have a button in TC who calls the Windows 7 start menu or at least the computer system configuration

Just right-click the Start button or press [Win] + [x]. There is no Windows 7 start menu in Win 8.1

Hi,

It seems that the windows 7 start button exists still in WIndows 8.01 (some programs like ClassicShell will recreate the Windows 7 start button). The configuration pannel exists also and is not simple to find. For this reasoN I think it will be simple to add these buttons in TC.

"right-click the Start button" seems not to work on some computers. "press [Win] + [x]" works and can also be an idea to add this as a button in TC for this ...

For people, like me, TC is one of the main applications .. explorer is by example only an add on ... for this reason I think TC must also have some functions integrated who are a need to administrate the PC. Most users of TC does not have any feeling for some "tieles" of windows 8.

You can download my extended menu (see signature here below) - it has a whole section with what would have been in the Start menu if Windows 8.1 had contained a Start menu.

if you need help to translate the user interface in german and french language
I used to maintain a French and a German version ( see http://madsenworld.dk/index-uk.htm?wincmd/index-uk.htm#french ) - but It was too much work - and back then there was only one version of my menus for each language - now there are 8 - 9 versions for each language.

But feel free to make the translation - I will even host them for download, if you would like that.
