Christian Ghisler wrote that :
Suggestion: When the user presses F3, the plugin should always show page one. Then when the user presses PageDown AND the scrollbar is already at the end of the page, the plugin should switch to page 2, then page 3 etc! This way you could get rid of the page selection dialog. What do you think?

==> i installed the plugin and got the same thing : the 1st page and that's all !
How can we do to use it as Christian said 'page down" like a normal file ?

Fine!

That's why I made the output resolution configurable ;)

Ver 0.91: I get the following error message:

"Failed to register Windows class!"

Edited
Stupid me ! It works better after restarting TC ! ;)
BTW: any chance to be able to follow links in a future version ?

Regards,
Geoffrey

Geoffrey
I've uploaded a debug version to
http://www.mp3tag.de/download/tc/wlx_pdfview_debug.zip

It would be nice, if you can test it again and please provide me the text of the LastError message box.

2fnheiden:

I think you should integrate the page dialogue window to the plugin. This dialogue should say (as in Acrobat Viewer) the number of the page you are viewing and the total number of pages. Imagine a pdf with 200, 300 or more pages (I've got many). You cannot navigate easily through this kind of pdf. In my humble opinion, a good solution would be to put the dialogue window again, but as something auxiliar, to make easier navigation through big pdfs (and not, as before, where you must put the page number to get access to the pdf).

What do you think?

I agree with JP ,maybe 2 Buttons are possible with pagenumber,or percentage.
In addition i would like to change resolution after opening in Lister.

The pdfview works for me (after upating to gs8), but now ieview doesn't work.

When I view a htm file i just see the code.

Any suggestions how I can get them to both work?

Geoffrey,
BTW: any chance to be able to follow links in a future version ?

Though not an expert on this issue, I doubt that. As far as I understand it the pages shown are just bitmaps, so it would be difficult to check if the point you clicked on is a link or not. GS would have to support something like, "Hey, GS is there a link at X=531 and Y=298 on page 4 of the document.pdf file?" and I don't think GS supports something like this.
Anyways, not an expert on that.

Edit your iview.ini. In the line "explorer=.htm;.html;.plg;.mht;.xml;.xsl;.djvu;.pdf;" just don't put ".pdf".

Also comment (put a ";") before the lines:

;acrobat=.pdf;

and

;.pdf=""%PDF-""[/quote]

Sorry, but I don't know about a solution to get the total number of pages from Ghostscript.
