is it posible to copy files from one dir to another at certain speed in order to not to saturate cpu usage? for example I have to move more or less1 TB from one drive to another , so I prefer to let the copy process at 50kb/s for example, as in ftp process.

Background Transfer Manager has this option (command cm_OpenTransferManager)

no, I dont have backgroud transfers... I want a copy command with this hability to manage copy speed

Be honest, your wish is rather exotic. You seem to be alone who wants to decrease the copy speed while most people prefer to increase it. So, exotic means need to satisfy exotic requirements.
BTM works, I've just tested: the 180 Mb file was copied for about 26 seconds (!) with the speed limit 1 kb/s. Is that what you want?

Background Transfer Manager is a tool that performs some operations in background (not only downloads/uploads but copy/move files too).
You only need to press F2 Queue in copy/move dialog instead of OK, and you'll see BTM window where maximum copy/move speed may be set. Just try it, it is easy.

Wow, it seems that copy speed was a bit greater than 1 kb/s.

Yes, it does. Moreover, the file is first quickly copied for about 60-70%, then stops for some seconds, and then is copied slo-o-o-owly till the end. The hard disk was the same - perhaps it is the cause of such strange behaviour.
But without BTM the same file is copied for 1-2 secs
