Ok, Here's my status, I made a dual boot machine.
Windows 98 is installed on the C: drive, but Windows 2000 calls itself Drive D: - which is fine by me, as long as I can Hide C Drive to Keep Drive D: ontop.
I'm hiding C: from the Drive Buttons with DriveBarHide=C in wincmd.ini and also hiding it from Windows Explorer using NODRIVES 04 00 00 00 in the registry, but it still appears in the Total Commander drive selection dropbox.
So anyway to hide it from that, also, and maybe still access it occasionally just by typing c:\
Hiding a Drive completely, including dropdown box?

You can forbid TC displaying and entering drive completely using Allowed key. But AFAIK there is no way to hide a drive from combo box but have it accessible via cd command.
However if you're using Windows 2000, you can remove drive letter for your W98 volume so no one will be able to enter it via drive letter. Volume will still be accessible via mount point (folder that shows contents of some volume - you can create one with mountvol console command).
